The Science & Entertainment Exchange and the Writers Guild of America, East Present: Secret Agents, Spies, and Scientists

Join us for an engaging evening of science and espionage because, really, how often do you get to do that?  The Science & Entertainment Exchange, a program of the National Academy of Sciences, and the Writers Guild of America, East will host a lively conversation between screenwriters and scientists.  They will explore the technologies that facilitate spycraft and enable high-level espionage while we learn about the ways in which fact meets fiction in two hit television shows featuring some of our most popular spies.

Panelists:

Yudhijit Bhattacharjee, Staff Writer, Science Magazine and Author of The Spy Who Couldn’t Spell

Brant Englestein, Writer/Supervising Producer for Marvel’s Agent Carter

Maynard Holliday, Special Assistant to Frank Kendall, Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics at the Pentagon

Tracey Scott Wilson, Writer/Supervising Producer for The Americans
