Global Pandemic Response Procedures
The William Vale has always been a safe space for our travelers to rest their heads. As the global pandemic peaked in our city, we took a break from hosting visitors. Now that we are ready to welcome you back, here are the thoughtful, hygienic measures we are taking to ensure the safety and comfort of our future guests, staff, and community. We look forward to welcoming you once again.
In the Hotel
Throughout the hotel, door handles, light switches, elevator buttons and all other high touch points are being frequently disinfected with EPA list cleaner killing COVID within 45 seconds. Wearing facemasks will be required in public spaces and are available for guests. Touch free hand sanitizer stations will be located at the front desk, in the elevators and throughout the property. Air conditioning filters throughout guest rooms and public areas have been upgraded to a Merv-13 filter that captures bacteria and virus carrying particles.
In Your Room
We will be assigning every other guest room to ensure plenty of space to enjoy your stay and balcony while being socially distant. Soft touch items like throw pillows, pens, notepads, postcards, and magazines have been removed and are available by request. Robes and slippers will be available by request and come individually packaged. All guest deliveries will be contact free. We will be using UV technology for the minibar to sanitize all items. A complimentary sanitation pack will be offered in our minibar that includes gloves and an alcohol wipe for guest’s comfort and peace of mind when making their selections.
During Your Stay
We have scaled our housekeeping services in stayover rooms to include:
- Refreshing the bed
- Changing linens by request
- Replacing terry and amenities
- Cleaning all high touch point locations, floors, and bathrooms
- Trash removal
Deliveries from our housekeeping team will be available upon request through contactless delivery. Our turndown service of fresh towels, trash removal and replacing Le Labo amenities will be available upon request.
After Your Stay:
When a guest checks out of their room, all linens and towels will be laundered and replaced. All hard and bathroom surfaces will be disinfected with EPA list cleaner killing COVID within 45 seconds.
Lobby seating as well as gym equipment have all been properly stationed in accordance with CDC approved social distancing guidelines. Reservations are required to utilize the gym to prevent overcrowding. Gym towels will be properly washed and sanitized in-house. As always, anti-bacterial wipes will be provided to wipe down gym equipment.
And as for us? We have provided appropriate PPE for all staff. We continue to practice social distancing and wear masks appropriately. We are taking the same upgraded cleaning measures from the front of the house to the back of the house as well. All employees took and passed a COVID-19 test prior to returning to work. Our employees’ temperatures are being taken upon arrival to work. If we are sick, we stay home. We support each other and look forward to supporting you. Welcome back to The William Vale.
