What are your hours of operation?
The pool is open exclusively to hotel guests weather permitting from 8am - 5:30 pm.
The last day of the pool season will be Sunday, October 11th.
Where is the pool located?
The pool is located on the fourth floor of The William Vale.
I am a hotel guest. Do I have to pay to use the pool?
Hotel guests do not have to pay to use the pool, but reservations are required. Each guest is limited to one pool 3-hour reservation per day. Guests first and last names must be registered to their room to gain entry to the pool. To make a reservation, contact [email protected], and we would be happy to assist you.
I have a hotel reservation. Can we use the pool before check-in and after check-out?
You are welcome to use the pool as a hotel guest. Pool access is available for guests starting at 8am on the day of their check in until 11am on the day of their check out. Once you are checked out, access to Vale Pool is no longer available. This ensures guests checking in that day will have full availability to access to the pool prior to their check-in. Reservations for a 3-hour time slot are required to access the pool. All pool bookings must be reserved in advance by contacting the front desk or emailing [email protected] Premium seating is available for purchase. Purchase of premium seating provides access for the entire day from 8am to 5:30pm.
What are the Vale Pool reservation time slots?
All chaise lounge chairs are complimentary. Each reservation is for 3 hours. Time slots are as follows:
What is the pricing for all-day premium seating?

- Poolside Daybed accommodates 2 people – $350
- Poolside Pergola accommodates 2 people – $250
- Terrace Daybed accommodates 2 people – $250
- Terrace Pergola accommodates 2 people – $150
I am a hotel guest and my friends who live nearby want to come to the pool. Can they come with me?
Pool usage is exclusive to registered hotel guests only.
I am not staying at the hotel, but I would like to use the pool. Can I do that?
No, access to Vale Pool will only be provided to hotel guests this season.
What social distancing protocols are being practiced?
All pool seating has been stationed to comply with the CDC regulations for social distancing. Please do not rearrange your seats when you enter the pool deck. Guests are required to maintain a 6-foot distance from others not included in their party.
Do I have to wear a mask at the pool?
Yes, while you are on the pool deck, a face mask or covering must be worn at all times when you are not in the pool. You may leave your mask off while lounging on your designated seating area as we have properly distanced the seating stations.
Is the pool deck sanitary?
Our time slot reservations allow a 15-minute interval for our housekeeping staff to sanitize pool seating after each guest use.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, the pool is heated at 80 degrees.
Do you offer pool day passes?
Day passes are sold out for the remainder of the season.
Do you offer pool memberships?
We are currently sold out of pool memberships for the remainder of the season.
Do you serve food and drinks?
Food and bar service is available Monday through Sunday 11:00am to 5pm. Food service concludes Sunday, 9/27. Bar service concludes Sunday, 10/4.
Can we bring outside food to the pool?
We are happy to offer food and bar service is available daily. No outside food and drink is permitted. Please enjoy your food on the pool bridge as food consumption is not allowed on the pool deck.
I am a guest of the hotel and want to bring my kids to the pool. Can I do that?
Children also staying at the hotel are most welcome at Vale Pool. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Only registered hotel guests may visit the pool and the number of total guests is limited to the room reservation.
Gotham Corner Suites, One Bedroom Suites, Vale Garden Residence, and Double Double room categories allows 4 guests to register.
King with Balcony, Gotham King with Balcony, Queen with Balcony, and Gotham Queen with Balcony allows 2 guests to register.
*Must have first and last name of each guest registered to room for access to the Pool.
Can I bring my pet to the pool?
Service and therapy animals are welcome. However, while in the pool area, animals are strictly prohibited from entering the actual pool.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full refunds will be given for premium seating if pool is closed due to rain. Premium seating can be cancelled same day as reservation with no penalty. If a premium seating reservation is not cancelled this will be considered a no-show, and the full cost of the seating will be charged.
What if the weather does not cooperate?
We will treat any inclement weather on a case-by-case basis, and refund premium seating reservations accordingly.
Can I walk in?
Vale Pool is exclusive to hotel guests only. All 3-hour pool reservations must be booked in advance by contacting the front desk or emailing [email protected]
Is there a lifeguard on duty?
Yes. There is a lifeguard daily from 8am-5:30pm.
Are there showers?
We provide outdoor showers, to rinse off before entering the pool. Only 1 guest at a time is permitted to use the shower.
Are there lockers and/or changing rooms?
We do not provide lockers. All guests are responsible for their belongings. We recommend changing in your guestroom.
Is there a gym?
We have a fitness center; however, it is reserved exclusively for hotel guests. All gym access is complimentary and must be reserved through the front desk or by emailing [email protected] No more than 2 guests are allowed in gym at any time. Face masks must be worn. Housekeeping will sanitize the equipment after each guest use.
When can I use the gym?
Daily time slots for gym use are 30 minutes each. Each guest can reserve up to 3 slots per day. The time slots are as follows:
