What are your hours of operation?
The pool is open to hotel guests from 8am to 8pm. Day passes provide access from 10am to 8pm.
Where is the pool located?
The pool is located on the fourth floor of The William Vale.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, the pool is heated at 80 degrees.
I’m a hotel guest. Do I have to pay to use the pool?
No, pool access and chaise lounge access is available on a first-come-first-served basis for hotel guests. If, however, you are interested in booking a day bed, pergola, or cabana, please contact [email protected], and we would be happy to assist you.
I have a hotel reservation. Can we use the pool before check-in and after check-out?
You are welcome to use the pool anytime as a Hotel guest. Access is granted for guests on the day of their arrival beginning at 11am prior to check-in time. Pool and chaise lounge access is available on a first-come-first-served basis. After the time of your check-out (11am), you will need to pay the day pass rate to maintain your access to the pool. This ensures guests checking in that day will have full access to the pool prior to their check-in.
I’m a hotel guest and my friends who live nearby want to come to the pool. Can they come with me?
Yes, they will need to pay the day pass rate to access the pool, subject to availability. We do limit the number of outside guests to no more than two.
I am not staying at the hotel, but I would like to use the pool. Can I do that?
Absolutely. A day pass reservation is required for non-hotel guests, based on availability. Please book here.

Do you serve food and drinks?
Yes, please refer to our pool menu here. All food and beverage at The William Vale is under the direction of Chef Andrew Carmellini and NoHo Hospitality Group. For additional places to eat before or after the pool, please visit our dining page.
When is food & beverage available?
Food is served from 11am to 6pm, while beverage is served from 11am to 8pm (last call at 7:30pm).
Can we bring outside food to the pool?
No, outside food is not permitted at Vale Pool.
I am a guest of the hotel and want to bring my kids to the pool. Can I do that?
Absolutely, children are most welcome at the pool. Note that children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and the number of total guests is limited to the room reservation.
I am not a guest of the hotel, but am purchasing a day pass to the pool. Do I have to purchase a day pass for children attending with me?
Yes, all visitors that are not hotel guests are required to purchase a day pass to visit the pool. Please see more details here.
Can I bring my pet to the pool?
Service and therapy animals are welcome. However, while in the pool area, animals are strictly prohibited from entering the actual pool.
What can I do other than swim?
Vale Pool offers poolside dining, full bar service, outdoor games, and more, throughout the season. Please also refer to our events calendar for more details.
What is your cancellation policy?
We will refund all seats until 3pm the day prior to the reservation time.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
We will treat any inclement weather on a case-by-case basis, and refund reservations accordingly.
Can I walk in?
We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins, however, only guests with reservations are guaranteed access. To check on same-day walk-in availability, please refer to the Day Passes / Membership page for the most up-to-date details.
Is there a lifeguard on duty?
Yes. There is a lifeguard daily from 8am-8pm.
Are there showers?
We provide outdoor showers, to rinse off before entering the pool. Shampoo, soap, and other beauty products are not permitted.
Are there lockers and/or changing rooms?
We do not provide lockers. All guests are responsible for their belongings. We have ample restrooms with private stalls which you may change in.
Is there a gym?
We have a fitness center, however, it is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
