Hotel guests can reserve complimentary chaise lounges anytime during their stay. Poolside chaise seating is on a first come first serve basis, otherwise terrace side chaise seating is available. Day Passes
Vale Pool is open to a limited number of non-hotel guests via Resort Pass. Non-guests are able to purchase premium seating reservations, which allows access to Vale Pool for the entire day. This means your friends in the neighborhood can join in on the fun, too.
Memberships
Make pool days a regular thing. Our first-ever Vale Pool membership program includes access every Monday through Wednesday, all season long. Single memberships are $1,599, and dual household memberships are $2,550 (members must share same address). Seating is first come, first served, with opportunities to upgrade to premium when available.

Also available as an add-on to your stay is a session in our beautiful red cedar outdoor saunas and spas, located outdoors with dome views of the outside world. These private sauna pods are perfect for solo sessions or quiet shared moments of relaxation. Finish your session with a dip in a handcrafted tub.

Reservations
No, however, hotel guests must reserve their spot at the pool during peak season. This can be done through Resort Pass. Additionally, it should be noted that hotel guests receive a complimentary three-hour pass for chaise lounge seating at Vale Pool, but poolside seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Otherwise, terrace chaise lounge seating is available. Hotel guests may purchase upgraded seating, inlcuding full day access at an exclusive rate through Resort Pass or directly at the pool.

Yes, by purchasing a premium seating reservation. Premium seating is available in your choice of a cabana, daybed, lounge bed, pergola, or loveseat sofa.

You are welcome to use the pool as a hotel guest. Pool access is available for hotel guests starting at 8am on the day of their check-in until 10:15am on the day of their check out. Guests may only book complimentary seating from 8am-10:15am on their check-out date. This ensures guests checking in that day should have full availability to access the pool prior to their check-in.
Premium seating is available for purchase. Purchase of premium seating provides access for the entire day from 8am to 8pm. Guests may purchase premium seating on the day of their check out if available.
Hotel guests cannot bring outside guests with them if they have complimentary reservations (3-hour chaise lounge chair reservations.) If a guest has a premium reservation like a cabana, they can bring outside guests up to the capacity of the seating. Each guest must be registered when the reservation is made (no swapping of guests is permitted).

Yes. Sauna/hot tub appointments can only be booked if the guest has an existing Vale Pool reservation (premium or complimentary seating). Guests who book complimentary seating may only book a Spa appointment during the Vale Pool time slot they are booked in.
Premium seating can be cancelled by 8am on the day prior to your reservation with no penalty. If a premium seating reservation is not cancelled, and the guest(s) does not show, the full cost of the seating will be charged.
Premium seating booked for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends must be cancelled 7 days prior to the date of the reservation to receive a full refund. Any cancellations after this period will result in the full cost of the seating being charged.
Full refunds will be given if the pool is closed for the day due to rain. We will treat any partial closures due to inclement weather on a case-by-case basis, and refund reservations accordingly.

General
The pool is located on the fourth floor of The William Vale.
Yes, the pool is heated at 80 degrees.
Food is offered between 8am-6pm daily, and beverage are offered between 11am-7pm, as part of our Poolside Dining menu from the award-winning NoHo Hospitality.
Unfortunately, outside food and beverage is not permitted at Vale Pool.
Our time slot reservations allow a 15-minute interval for our staff to sanitize pool seating after each guest use.
Children also staying at the hotel are welcome at Vale Pool from 8am-12pm. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Only registered hotel guests may visit the pool and the number of total guests is limited to the room reservation.
Standard King, Gotham King, and Gotham Queen allow 2 guests to register.
All Suites and Vale Garden Residence allow 4 guests to register.
Children are allowed 8am-12pm. After 12pm, Vale Pool is 21+ only.
*Must have first and last name of each guest registered to room for access to the Pool.
No pets are allowed at Vale Pool.
Yes. There is a lifeguard daily from 8am-8pm.
We provide outdoor showers, to rinse off before or after entering the pool. Shampoo, soap, and other beauty products are not permitted. Only 1 guest at a time is permitted to use the shower.
We do not provide lockers. All guests are responsible for their belongings. Individual stalls for changing are located at the fourth floor bathrooms.
There are 2 saunas and 2 hot tubs available this summer at Vale Pool. Reservations must be made to use either amenity.
